This establishmet serves the greatest food in all of Phnom Penh and the beer is only 75 cents for a full liter of Anghor; the best tasting beer in all of the country.
The staff speak fluent English and are most friendly.
I spent 6 weeks in Cambodia and Vietnam last year and each and every time that I came back to Phnom Penh; I would return to this most popular of all of the city's watering holes; to savor the fine meals as well as to meet other foreign travelers; just to be a part of the life and the fun.
I am returning to Cambodia in October 2011 and will certainly be going back to the Mekong Restaurant; to see the staff.
