Tchou Tchou Daycare and Kindergarten has been welcoming children since 1991 in a quiet and peaceful green outdoors environment. In the Daycare Center, creative, fun and educational activities are offered for 18 months to 3 years old children, mainly outdoors. Grouped according to their age, the children come to make their first steps towards independence. They also learn to respect others as they discover social life.

From the age of 3, children have the choice between an all-French speaking class and a bilingual class (French/English). Teachers and their assistants follow the French Curriculum and teach a maximum of 20 students per class. Tchou Tchou offers both half and full day options. For the children staying all day, the school provides lunch and the possibility to sleep in a quiet room.

Daycare
The children who come to Tchou Tchou for Daycare are split into two groups according to their age, in order to respect each child's pace and needs. These 4 groups add up to approximately 40 children who are supervised by a total of 10 adults. French is the main language, but English is also used by the educators.
In Daycare, the children are invited to participate in creative activities (painting, cutting, gluing, play-dough...), in physical education (gymnastics, outdoors activities), as well as in music workshops (listening skills, singing, experimenting instruments). All these activities aim to stimulate their intellectual and physical capacity.

The Daycare center is equipped with a large selection of educational games and a library. The children grow in a large and safe outdoor space, using a variety of facilities: small houses, a sandpit, many toys and a swimming pool (the quality of the water is checked on a daily basis).
The Tchou Tchou Daycare educators particularly strive to value each child individuallyv, as we consider that it is a key element in developing self-confidence.
Each child is unique, and is treated as such!
Kindergarten
Today Tchou Tchou Kindergarten is organized into five classes: two Early Years I, two Early Years II and two Pre-Primary class. Early Years I & II and preprimary class provide classes in either, French or bilingual French/English. Pre-primary class is French speaking. The activities offered to the children aim to develop their independence, knowledge and skills, which are the basics for entering Primary School.
The main aim in Kindergarten is to develop good oral communication skills: progressively, children learn to express themselves and to speak together. Games, research activities, guided and free play, all contribute to stimulate the children and to set the foundations of their own personality.

In class, the children are expected to become increasingly independent as they learn to act responsibly, to handle their needs, to respect and to value each other. All these aspects of social life are fundamental learning components. <b>In the bilingual class, native speaking teachers alternatively teach in their mother tongue (French or English), but the curriculum followed is always French.
